Maple Walnut Brussel Sprout and Chestnuts
1lb Brussel Sprouts Medium
2 cups IQF Peeled Chestnuts
4 tbsp Echire Unsalted Butter
2 tbsp Shallots
1/2 cup Pure Maple Syrup
1/2 cup chopped walnut, toasted
Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1. Cook the brussels sprouts and the chestnuts according to package directions.
- 2. Sauté shallots in butter until translucent.
- 3. Add brussels sprouts, chestnuts, maple syrup and salt and pepper to taste.
- 4. Place in serving dish and garnish with chopped walnuts.
